Hamdan Bin Zayed Visits 1st Liwa Date Festival and Auction

His Highness listened to explanations about heritage activities and competitions for date farmers and producers

His Highness Hamdan bin Zayed visited the 1st Liwa Date Festival and Auction, held under H.H’s patronage, and organised by the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi.

The festival and auction will continue till October 24, 2022 at Liwa City, Al Dhafra.

H.H. listened to explanations about heritage activities and competitions for date farmers and producers.

He also attended part of the daily date auction, and praised the festival’s role showcasing Emirati heritage, supporting local products and enhancing the UAE food security ecosystem.
