SME News Service

The teams at both of CBM Media’s two key brands – Sustainability Middle East and Transport & Logistics Middle East – are shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth the II of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

CEO of CBM Media Group Sam Khan said: "As many leading Middle Eastern figures have already stated, Queen Elizabeth was a friend to the Middle East and a highly respected global figure that offered a hand of friendship to many growing economies in the region during her tenure.

"She presided over a democratic change in historic relations to build a brighter future that we enjoy today.

"We have members of staff from the UK who are deeply saddened at this time, and this sentiment is echoed by our international workforce in locations all over the world, but especially here in our headquarters in Dubai.

"We feel we can best mark this sad occasion by carrying on the Queen’s legacy of integrity and respect amongst people, duty to a common cause, and building a safer, healthier, and happier world together."
