We have one planet which we have to hand over to the next generation which needs to be appropriately educated about 'sustainability'.

Gender equality is important, as we educate children and youngsters about keeping the environment green, said Maria Flouda, Founder and Managing Consultant, Sustainability Switch Consultancy.

Speaking at the Future of Sustainability conference, organised by Sustainability Middle East, Ms Flouda said: "Innovation, technology and human capital are the keys to living in a sustainable world."
