PepsiCo has defined a new way to become sustainable for the environment, the future and for people. To do that, the company has implemented an end-to-end strategy that redefines how it is going to be a better company, said Yasmin Fansa, Middle East Sustainability Lead at PepsiCo.

"From the way we get our ingredients all the way to the plastic bottle or a snacks pack leaving the hands of our consumers, all of that becomes our responsibility. And we have touched upon each activity to understand how we can do things better," she said.

Through innovation, better processing and by using different types of technology PepsiCo integrates sustainability into its value chain. The company have set a timeline for its 2040 goals and aligned its investments accordingly.

"More importantly, we have integrated the sustainability strategy into each individual's culture and objectives, to make sure that everyone across the organisation is working towards that goal," concluded Ms Fansa.
