On behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, will lead the UAE delegation to the 20th G20 Summit taking place from 22–23 November 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

UAE Advances Global Climate Leadership at the G20 ECSWG Ministerial Meeting

Invited by South African President His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, the UAE joins the summit at a pivotal moment as nations intensify efforts to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals and strengthen global sustainability commitments.

This year’s G20 agenda will spotlight inclusive economic growth, a just transition in the energy sector, and urgent steps to reinvigorate SDG progress worldwide. Leaders will also explore deeper cooperation on climate resilience, global health, innovation, and strategic economic partnerships.

By participating, the UAE reinforces its commitment to advancing sustainability-driven development and contributing to a more stable, equitable, and future-ready global economy.
