Dubai-based multinational logistics, courier and package delivery major, Aramex is ahead of its peers in implementing Paris Agreement commitments, says Raji Hattar, Chief Sustainability and Compliance Officer at Aramex, in this exclusive video.

Mr Hattar is part of SME's 50 Sustainability Leaders initiative featuring in the launch edition of Sustainability Middle East (SME) magazine. He will also be a part of the SME Experts 2022 Conference to be held in Dubai this December.

Mr Hattar said: "At Aramex we aim to achieve a sustainable future through our sustainability projects which are part of our DNA. We improve our operations through the implementation of green solutions and latest technologies which will help us achieve our target of net zero by 2040.

"We implement several social and environmental projects across the globe where we face few challenges including availability of technology and we work with our local partners to resolve these issues."

Aramex aims at creating sustainable future through implementation of its sustainability strategy which is based on three pillars: a) Education and Youth Empowerment; b)Entrepreneurship c) Climate Change and the Environment, concluded Mr Hattar.
