At the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow, ENOC Group has placed sustainability firmly in the spotlight, underscoring its mission to accelerate the energy sector’s shift toward net-zero.
The integrated global energy major announced the supply of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to JETEX-operated aircraft throughout the event — a key move aligning with global momentum toward low-carbon aviation.
Hussain Sultan Lootah, Acting CEO of ENOC Group, said the company is committed to advancing clean energy solutions that reflect national priorities such as the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and Dubai Green Mobility Strategy 2030.
“Our participation at the Dubai Airshow reflects our commitment to enabling sustainable aviation, advancing mobility, and driving scalable innovations which contribute to shaping the future of aerospace,” he noted.
ENOC’s deployment of SAF is central to the Airshow’s sustainability objectives, directly supporting JETEX’s efforts to cut emissions from its private aviation fleet.
The partnership between ENOC and JETEX illustrates a shared ambition to drive wider adoption of cleaner fuels and set new industry standards worldwide.
Adel Mardini, Founder & CEO of JETEX, emphasised the company’s environmental mission: “Our strategy focuses on reducing carbon emissions, recycling, and adapting the latest green technologies across our global network, and we are pleased to supply our aircraft with sustainable aviation fuel at the Dubai Airshow.”
Beyond SAF, ENOC is showcasing broader clean-energy collaborations, including its partnership with Dubai Airports to power ground operations with biodiesel. A key exhibit at the Airshow is the Group’s dedicated Biofuel tanker — a tangible example of how aviation logistics can transition to low-carbon alternatives.
This infrastructure aligns with Dubai’s goal of transforming airport operations into global models of sustainability while supporting airlines and service providers in reducing their environmental impact.
One of the standout innovations highlighted by ENOC is its green hydrogen fuelling station at Expo City Dubai. Since its launch in 2021, the station has integrated hydrogen, hydrocarbon, and electric energy sources into a unified, future-forward model.
At the Airshow, the station will fuel COBUS’s hydrogen-powered airport bus, demonstrating real-world application of clean hydrogen in aviation mobility.
This technology points to a new era where airports increasingly adopt hydrogen-powered ground fleets, reducing emissions across every segment of operations.
With its SAF supply, biodiesel logistics infrastructure, and cutting-edge hydrogen mobility solutions, ENOC Group’s presence at the Dubai Airshow goes beyond participation — it signals leadership.
The Group is building the foundations for a cleaner aviation ecosystem, offering scalable models that other global hubs can emulate.
As the world intensifies its push toward net-zero aviation, ENOC’s integrated approach — spanning fuels, infrastructure, and mobility — positions it as a frontrunner in shaping the sustainable airports and air travel networks of the future.
