Volvo Group is committed to driving and propelling a fundamental breakthrough of electrification, from development of charging and infrastructure solutions to the remanufacturing, refurbishing, repurposing, and recycling state-of-the-art batteries.

The batteries are important, as these power our Volvo Group products, said Kivanc Karayol, Market Director & Electromobility Champion, Volvo Group.

Speaking at the Future of Sustainability conference, organised by Sustainability Middle East, Mr Karayol said: “A complete startup -  Volvo Energy is responsible for construction equipment, buses, trucks, yachts, motorboats, engines and all parts of the Volvo Group, including the other brands. The department reports directly to the office of the CEO."
