Recycling Effectively Is the Key to a Greener Future: Ehfaaz

According to CCO of Ehfaaz, Muhammad Danbappa, anything can be recycled depending on the time and resources put into the process

When it comes to garbage disposal, companies should focus on the main category of waste they generate rather than diverting their ‘sustainability attention’ elsewhere, according to Muhammad Danbappa, Chief Commercial Officer of Ehfaaz, who recently spoke at the Future of Sustainability Conference in Dubai.

During a conversation with Karl W. Feilder, the Conference's host and moderator, Mr Danbappa stated that anything may be recycled. What matters is the amount of time and effort put into the process.

A major challenge is persuading consumers and educating authorities that effective recycling is the key to imagining a greener future, he said at the conference which was hosted by SME, in March, 2023.

Things are changing, and there is a lot of encouragement on the ground, Mr Danbappa said, adding: "The tipping fee (pay as you dump) imposed by the Dubai Municipality last year, is one of such initiatives."
