Aldar Named Exclusive Real Estate Partner for Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), the UAE’s flagship global platform for advancing sustainable development, has announced Aldar as its Exclusive Real Estate Partner for the 2026 edition of the event.

The partnership underscores the UAE’s growing leadership in sustainable real estate development and low-carbon urban transformation.

Hosted by Masdar, ADSW 2026 will take place under the theme “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go”, bringing together world leaders, policymakers, investors and innovators to drive practical, scalable solutions across energy, finance, technology and society.

The agreement was signed by Salwa Al Maflahi, Executive Director of Sustainability & Community Outreach at Aldar, and Dr. Lamya Fawwaz, Executive Director of Brand & Strategic Initiatives at Masdar. As Exclusive Real Estate Partner, Aldar’s role reflects its strong commitment to embedding sustainability across property development, asset management and investment.

Welcoming the partnership, Dr. Lamya Fawwaz said urban life and the built environment are central to the system-wide transformation that ADSW seeks to accelerate. She noted that Aldar’s expertise in sustainable real estate will add significant value to global discussions on future-ready cities and infrastructure.

ADSW 2026 will open with the annual IRENA Assembly, followed by the Opening Ceremony and Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards. The ADSW Summit and Dialogues will host high-level discussions aimed at unlocking investment, fostering collaboration and accelerating climate action. More than 50,000 participants from over 170 countries are expected to attend, reinforcing ADSW’s role as a major catalyst for global sustainability progress.

Aldar, a leading real estate developer, manager and investor headquartered in Abu Dhabi, continues to position itself at the forefront of sustainable real estate in the region.
