Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences, has unveiled the Miral Impact Fund in partnership with the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, the government body responsible for social contributions.

The fund marks a major evolution of Miral’s CSR strategy, reflecting a commitment to environmental stewardship, community empowerment and long-term sustainable development across the emirate.

The launch event was attended by senior government and Miral leadership, reinforcing high-level support for the initiative. The agreement was signed by H.E. Abdullah Al Ameri, Director General of Ma’an, and Dr. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral.

Four Pillars for Lasting Impact

The Fund will deliver results-driven initiatives aligned with Abu Dhabi’s evolving priorities, structured around four core pillars:

  • Conservation – protecting ecosystems and biodiversity

  • Art & Culture – fostering creativity and heritage

  • Health & Wellbeing – strengthening community resilience

  • Education & Skills – developing future talent

Through transparent governance, a joint steering committee will ensure contributions are effectively deployed to achieve measurable social and environmental outcomes.

First Initiative: Guardians of the Arabian Gulf

The Fund’s inaugural programme, Guardians of the Arabian Gulf, will be spearheaded by the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center. This initiative focuses on protecting endangered marine species, restoring fragile ecosystems, and training the next generation of conservation specialists.

Voices of Commitment

Dr. Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi emphasised that the fund represents a defining milestone in Miral’s sustainability journey—turning CSR intent into measurable impact aligned with Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.

H.E. Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri highlighted Ma’an's role in directing community and private sector contributions toward priority projects that foster sustainable social development.

A Call to Collaborate

Built on robust governance and transparency, the Miral Impact Fund invites corporations, partners, and individuals to join in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future for Abu Dhabi—empowering communities while protecting the environment for generations to come.
