Red Sea Global has clinched the Sustainability Middle East Innovation in Sustainability Award. Given the gravity of the current climate crisis, it is critical that companies maintain high environmental targets with environmental innovation at the forefront.
This award has been created to note the companies that are innovating in this regard.
Red Sea Global is pioneering a new, innovative and people-centric model of urban development and sustainable tourism. Its platinum LEED status projects and environmental initiatives are setting new global benchmarks for sustainable construction and eco-smart developments.
On the occasion, Christiane Zeidan, Director, Sustainable Hospitality Operation, Red Sea Global, raised concerns about global emissions which is putting the planet at a severe risk. Not meeting the target of the Paris Agreement, is really impacting and causing other issues, she said.
Ms Zeidan added: "It is causing damage to our oceans and disturbing the whole ecosystem. We need to collaborate, help each other and be innovative in meeting the Paris Agreement targets."
