WiSER, the global platform founded by Masdar and the Zayed Sustainability Prize, has unveiled its 10-year anniversary campaign, “We’re Just Getting Started,” marking a decade of championing women’s leadership in sustainability.

The campaign celebrates the platform’s journey so far while reaffirming its ambition to shape the future of sustainable development through inclusive, women-led solutions.

A Powerful Story Told Through Global Voices

At the heart of the campaign is a short film featuring influential global leaders and WiSER Pioneers whose work reflects the vital role women play in addressing today’s most complex global challenges.

The film brings together voices such as H.E. Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak, President of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN); H.E. Katrín Jakobsdóttir, former Prime Minister of Iceland and Chair of the Council of Women Leaders; and Ajaita Shah, Founder and CEO of Frontier Markets.

They are joined by inspiring WiSER Pioneers including Dana Shukirevyeva of Forest Hero, Nicole Bhati of ARC Power, and Reem Al Musabeah from Women in AI—each showcasing how women are delivering inclusive, scalable and lasting impact across sectors.

“We’re Just Getting Started”

Reflecting on the milestone, Dr Lamya Fawwaz, Executive Director of Brand & Strategic Initiatives at Masdar and Program Director of WiSER, said the campaign signals both progress and purpose.

She noted that over the past ten years, WiSER has focused on enabling women to lead meaningful change, and that the anniversary marks the beginning of a new phase—one centred on expanding reach, strengthening partnerships and empowering women to shape long-term, cross-sector solutions.

Building a More Inclusive Sustainability Ecosystem

Since its launch in 2015, WiSER has worked to empower women by improving access to education, mentorship, leadership opportunities and global networks. Over the past decade, the platform has supported women advancing innovation, economic opportunity and community resilience, contributing to a more inclusive global sustainability landscape.

Looking Ahead: The Next Chapter of Impact

As global challenges intensify, WiSER’s next phase is firmly future-focused. The platform will prioritise supporting women who are already driving scalable solutions, expanding their access to mentorship and global platforms that translate leadership into lasting economic and community value.

By strengthening networks, widening access to knowledge and fostering innovation, WiSER aims to equip women to lead solutions that deliver long-term impact across societies—underscoring that after ten years of progress, WiSER is just getting started.
