ION and ENOC Partner to Roll Out Fast EV Chargers Across Sharjah
The UAE’s electric mobility push is accelerating, with ION, the sustainable mobility venture by BEEAH and Crescent Enterprises, and ENOC Group entering a strategic partnership to deploy fast DC EV chargers across ENOC service stations in Sharjah.
The move comes at a critical moment of rising EV adoption in the emirate and aligns directly with the UAE’s National EV Policy, which aims for 50% of vehicles to be electric or hybrid by 2050.
Powering Sharjah’s Smart Mobility Transformation
As Sharjah experiences a surge in electric vehicle ownership, the demand for convenient, reliable, and high-speed charging has grown significantly. This collaboration is designed to strategically close that gap.
Under the agreement, ENOC and ION have pinpointed high-traffic, high-impact locations across the emirate. ION will supply, install, and operate the chargers through its advanced intelligent platform, while both partners explore further investment opportunities to expand the network.
