GenFlat Announces the Launch of Revolutionary Environment-friendly Containers
California-based GenFlat Containers has developed a more sustainable collapsible Marine Container, replacing traditional Standard Marine Containers.
GenFlat's patented container collapses four empty containers into the space of one Standard Marine Container; the process of collapsing/raising happens in 80 seconds flat, said Drew Hall, Co-Founder and CEO of GenFlat Containers.
"GenFlat containers also have greater strength and rigidity than current Standard Marine Containers, stacking and locking together to function as a single unit, readily deployable for multi-modal transport use. GenFlat containers meet ISO-certified standards (Lloyds Registry)," said Hall.

These containers reduce repositioning costs, storage space, and carbon emissions by 75%. GenFlat has partnered with CIMC in Dalian, China, to manufacture containers.
