Dubai Safari Park Launches Wildlife Innovators Competition to Inspire Eco-Friendly Student Inventions

Dubai Safari Park has opened registrations for the second edition of its Wildlife Innovators Competition, a creative challenge designed to engage students across the UAE in protecting wildlife through sustainability.

The initiative calls on young changemakers to design and build eco-friendly inventions that address habitat loss—using primarily recycled and repurposed materials.

From water collectors and feeders to shelters and other innovative solutions, participants are encouraged to turn discarded items into impactful prototypes that benefit wildlife.

Students will have one month after registrations close to bring their ideas to life. Finalists will then present their creations at Dubai Safari Park in November 2025, giving them the chance to showcase their ingenuity to a wider audience.

Throughout the journey, participants will be mentored by the Park’s experts, including Dr. Murad B. M. Mustafa, Head of the Veterinary Hospital, and Scott Chambers, Park Curator, with additional support from the Environment & Climate Change Authority.
