The campaign comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change to rehabilitate the garden and protect and preserve biodiversity, as the campaign removed large amounts of accumulated solid and plastic waste.

The accumulated waste poses a direct threat to the ecological balance and distort the picturesque nature of the area.

The working teams were able to remove tons of harmful waste, which negatively affects the vegetation cover and biodiversity in the garden, which is a natural habitat for rare species of plants and living organisms.

The Ministry stressed that these campaigns come within the framework of a sustainable strategy to preserve wild areas and raise awareness of the importance of reducing negative practices that threaten the environment.

It pointed out that Rawdat Hotan is classified as one of the important ecosystems in the country that requires continuous protection, calling on the public to cooperate in reporting any violations or wrong practices through official channels and the Ministry's hotline.

The Ministry plans its efforts to enhance awareness campaigns in conjunction with intensifying field efforts, to ensure a sustainable environment for future generations.
