"To achieve our goals, we are developing a detailed net zero by 2050 strategy, which includes a long-term roadmap and near-term actions. This is a complex endeavor, so we have convened a broad set of stakeholders, covering all emirates and sectors.”
While Shelly Trench, Global Climate & Sustainability Strategy Lead, Managing Director & Partner, BCG, commented:
“With abundant renewable resources, deep technological know-how, and a drive to innovate, the region has the opportunity to take targeted actions to address the global climate crisis and improve Middle East sustainability.
The BCG Climate & Sustainability Hub will develop strategies to reach net zero emissions, work with corporate clients over energy, industrial goods, and travel and tourism sectors and will help deploy initiatives that reduce regional and global carbon footprint.
